Welcome from our principal

Warami (Hello) and welcome to Werrington County Public School,

Our school proudly sits on Darug Country. As a school community, we appreciate all of the different animals and plants, the amazing waterways and the Country we live on. Darug Country is a beautiful, calm place, filled with rich culture, this land was, is and always will be Darug Country.

Werrington County Public School is a primary school for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and includes a Special Education Unit for students with additional learning needs. Our school offers a range of programs and extra-curricular opportunities for all students.

At Werrington County Public School, we believe that every student should be challenged to learn and continually improve in a respectful, inclusive environment that fosters high expectations. We strive to work in partnership with our school community to empower all students to flourish and become confident, respectful and engaged learners, through perseverance.

Our students, teachers and staff display our school values and expectations of being:

Compassionate - displaying genuine concern and consideration for the wellbeing of ourselves and others, behaving with integrity and empathy.

Collaborative - ensuring we are inclusive, pro-active and productive, working respectfully and responsibly with all people at all times in all settings.
